MSN Spaces; Old Friends mini Reunion

Once in a while everyone stops and pauses on the past. That seems to be occuring more and more frequently these days as I crawl further into the NET. Google began everything by randomly searching for people I once knew. I never really was able to find to many but when I did, it was like floodgates of the past opened up wide.

I went through a phase a while ago where I started looking up all of my old friends I was stationed with while I was in the Marine Corps stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. One such friend I am still in contact with to this day. His name is Brian.

Back then we were all a bit goofy and did crazy things, but that was the effects of youth primarily. You see, Brian and I were room mates and shared an apartment off of the base. Our very own little Isle of America in the middle of Japan. Every day was an experience.

Whether it was marathon typhoon coverage from the bunker of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Radio studio's Far East Network (Jammer did retun with the coffee!), or brainstorming themes at the "Eagles Nest" for that Friday evening's Star Traks Music Video Show, fun was whatever we made it.

We have all grown up now and it is good to see that Brian has become quite the cowpoke in the Halls of Microsoft. I have a saying; "Good friends are hard to find and even harder to keep." The web makes that much easier now. Swing by his Space some time.
